This Urgent Care Clinic is for people who have a sudden illness or injury and who need to see a doctor right away. Our doctors are experts in diagnosis and treatment of medical problems needing immediate care. We offer the convenience and excellence of experts, when you need them.

When should a person go to an Emergency Room instead?

Anyone having chest pain, uncontrollable bleeding, or who is unresponsive should go to the emergency room. The Emergency Room at Mercy Medical Center is equipped to handle life-threatening conditions.

Where should I go for physical exams, Pap smears, routine immunizations, well child visits, etc?

These are routine medical care be given by your personal physician. This is the doctor who knows your medical and family history. If you currently do not have a family doctor, a family practice clinic is conveniently located just down the hall. Our family practitioners and internal medicine physicians will gladly take care of you and your family’s ongoing health care needs.

Mercy's Quick Care Clinics

Mercy’s Quick Care Clinics are limited service clinics designed to diagnose and treat common illnesses to get you on the road to feeling better - quickly. Mercy’s Quick Care Clinics are staffed by nurse practitioners and are best suited for relatively straightforward problems like strep throat, ear infections and urinary tract infections that can be diagnosed through observation or simple lab tests.

How it Works

At Mercy Quick Care Clinics, you will receive the same quality care you expect from your primary care physician, urgent care center or emergency room and no appointments are necessary. In most cases, you will be seen within 15 minutes.

After your diagnosis, the Quick Care Clinic staff will provide you with the next steps for your care. Our staff is qualified to write you a prescription where clinically appropriate.

Illnesses that require more advanced and focused treatment will be referred to your primary care physician for evaluation and follow-up.
